Do I need any experience to apply?
No prior experience required. You’ll be trained from the ground up by industry experts. What matters is that you show up, work hard, and want to build a career.
How much does it cost?
Zero course fees. For Choices Flooring or associated apprentices, the qualification costs are paid by Newfurn Pty Ltd. You pay nothing for your qualification — you earn while you train.
How long does the apprenticeship take?
The Certificate III in Flooring Technology (MSF30818) is a 3-year apprenticeship. Certificate III in Interior Decoration Retail Services (MSF31018) is a 2-year traineeship.
Can I apply if I’m older — not a school leaver?
Absolutely. Career changers are welcome. Many of CTI’s strongest apprentices came from office jobs, retail, or other trades. If you want to make the change, you can.
Will I have a job guaranteed?
Yes. CTI places apprentices with employers across the Newfurn network (Choices Flooring, Style Interiors) and alliance industry partners. You’re employed from day one.
What happens after I qualify?
Self-employed contractor, employee, management, retail sales, project management, or work toward owning your own store within the Choices Flooring network. The path is yours.
